A lot of parents are just getting on with broken nights, short naps, or helping their baby to sleep every time, assuming it’s something they’ll eventually grow out of. But sleep is rarely random, and with the right support, things can improve.
My approach is about looking at the whole picture - your child, their sleep patterns, your family life, and your goals - and giving you practical, tailored guidance that makes sense and works in real life.

Testimonials
My 10 month old had always been a very unsettled sleeper and I was still feeding him 2-3 times in the night. Kim helped so much suggesting small changes that made a big difference to his sleep. She was so patient with us when he got poorly with a cold with regular check ins and advice and was there to support us again when he was better.
I now have the tools needed to get his sleep back on track after a period of illness.
He now settles himself to sleep at night with no fuss and sleeps through!
— Parent of 10 month old, UK“Kim was fantastic to deal with, great communication and a simple plan to implement which gave great results. Very grateful for the help which made a real difference”
— Parent of 8 week old, Hawkes BayAfter 8 months of very poor sleep, things actually got worse once my baby turned 4 months old. Everyone kept saying, “it’ll get better,” but for us it didn’t - it only got harder. When I returned to full-time work, I felt like I was drowning from the constant exhaustion. I finally decided to reach out to Kim, expecting sleep training to be difficult and invasive, but while it wasn’t necessarily easy, it was far gentler and more manageable than I had imagined.
Kim was incredibly thorough, answered every question I had, and created a plan that looked at more than just sleep - nutrition was part of it too, and that made a huge difference. Within three days, my baby went from waking 3–5 times a night to only once, and by day five was sleeping through. It has been life-changing for our family. Kim checked in daily, made sure I felt supported, and took the time to re-explain things whenever I felt unsure. I only wish I had done it sooner.

“Kim really helped with our struggles in a way that supported our busy home life. She had fantastic and clear guidelines for us to follow to create a good sleep routine for our baby. She was super thorough and kept in contact with me to offer advice and support throughout. I recommend her to anyone needing that extra support and guidance.
Thanks again 😀”

Hi, I’m Kim Taylor - wife, mum of two, and a certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant based in Central Hawke’s Bay.
My journey into this work began with my own children. With my first, I navigated sleep with very little guidance or understanding of how baby sleep works. With my second, I learned more about sleep development and put a clearer, more intentional approach in place - and the difference it made to our days and nights was significant.
Experiencing both ends of that spectrum showed me just how impactful strong sleep foundations and the right support can be for the whole family.
I understand how overwhelming and exhausting it can feel when sleep isn’t going well, and I also know the relief and confidence that comes when things start to make sense.
I’m passionate about helping families understand their child’s sleep and find approaches that align with their goals, values, and parenting style. Every baby and every family is different, and my support is always tailored with that in mind.
I’m so glad you’re here - and I’m here to support you toward calmer days and more restful nights.
